The staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. the location was marvelous and unbeatable, just off the hillside overlooking the town. the hotel is lovely, with views that round high up like a roller coaster around Avalon itself.

The room I booked had everything I needed - a comfy bed, a safe box, a TV, and a fridge. the layout was great with separate bedrooms and a view of the ocean 🌊. Plus, we were so close to Descanso Beach - the location couldn't have been better!

The location of this hotel was absolutely incredible. You could see the entire town from the hotel, and it was just a quick golf cart ride or walk back to the shops and restaurants. It felt secluded and quiet, which was exactly what we wanted. The pool was great, and we loved spending time on the huge top deck with its stunning views. Our room was well kept and had all the amenities we needed. Plus, there were plenty of delicious breakfast spots in town if you wanted something more than the hotel's breakfast offerings.
The hotel seemed disorganized. Additionally, the room we received was not the one we had expected based on the advertised photos.
