XG Mobile Promotion Forum (XGMF) participated in the 5th Joint Workshop jointly organized by Flexible Factory Partner Alliance (FFPA) and 5G-ACIA to discuss issues and measures to promote 5G/local 5G wireless adoption in factories, based on the MoU between the two organizations. On November 13-14, 2024, the XG Mobile Promotion Forum (XGMF) participated in the Global 6G Development Conference held in Shanghai, China. We held the "International Workshop on the Promotion of Millimeter Waves for 5G" by the Millimeter Wave Promotion Ad Hoc at the "Wireless Technology Park (WTP) " at Tokyo Big Sight on Friday, May 31, 2024.

XG Mobile Promotion Forum (English name: XG Mobile Promotion Forum, abbreviated as XGMF) held its inaugural meeting online on Friday, June 7, with 258 participants. In consideration of centralization of human resources and unification of international contact points, 5G Mobile Promotion Forum (5GMF) and Beyond 5G Promotion Consortium (B5GPC) will be merged to establish a new "XG Mobile Promotion Forum" on April 1, 2024. The forum has been discussing the organizational structure, rules and regulations, and other issues. The inaugural meeting was chaired by Mr. Nishioka, Director of ARIB. After the opening of the meeting, Mr. Takuro Kawakawa, Director-General of the Telecommunications Infrastructure Bureau of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, gave a speech as the guest of honor.
