Biography

Richard was born in 1842, the son of Georg Marcus Nordraach (1811–91) and Fredrikke Carine Tang (1809–63). 1865: lived in Nye Slotsgade, pianist.

Composer. Wrote the music for "Ja vi elsker", the Norwegian national anthem. Lyrics by his cousin, Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson
