I was born in Ukraine 03/08/1980 in Mykolaiv city, near the Black Sea. From father Valeriy Churyn (Валерий Чурин) and mother Lyubov Zhubryk (Любовь Жубрик, maiden name Polischuk Полищук). I was adopted by Zhubryk Vasiliy Dmitrievich (Жубрик Василий Дмитриевич), father of my sister born on 11/26/1981. Since 2001 I have lived in Italy. I love to paint and write poetry. My mtDna results show that I have many matches with people whose female ancestors were from England, Ireland, Scotland, etc. This thing was a big surprise for me because I, my mother, grandmother and I think also great grandmother were born in Ukraine. Some time ago I received my mtdna test results from a company that claims that I am maternally related to Queen Victoria of England, Napoleon Bonaparte, Sweyn II of Denmark, Luke the Evangelist, Nicolaus Copernicus, Maria Theresa of Austria, Jean -Paul Marat, Susan Sarandon, Jimmie Buffett, Bernie Sanders, Warren Buffett, Dr. Mehmet Oz. My maternal haplogroup is H1e1a.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
