City Bank opens City Bank American Express Lounge at Dhaka airport

City Bank opened its newly renovated City Bank American Express Lounge at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in the capital on Tuesday.
With a seating capacity of 60 guests and a spacious reception lobby, the lounge is designed to provide the guests with state-of-the-art facilities, said a press release on Wednesday.
With specially designed runway view seating arrangements card members can enjoy food and drinks from Intercontinental Dhaka and relax and be inspired. This lounge is also equipped with dedicated quiet areas including business desk, high speed wifi and American Express card service desk. There is also a special gallery in the lounge with letters written by Father of Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the statement added.
The lounge was inaugurated by Aziz Al Kaiser, chairman of City Bank. Nazmus Sadat Salim, company secretary, Bangladesh Services Limited, Group Captain AHM Towhid-U Ahsan, director, Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport attended the event.
The launch event was also attended by Mashrur Arefin, managing director and CEO of City Bank, Marc Reissinger, general manager of
Intercontinental Dhaka, Sheikh Mohammad Maroof, additional managing director, Zafrul Hasan, head of Digital Financial Services, Arifur Rahman, head of Cards of City Bank. Other senior officials from Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Services Ltd and City Bank were also present.
City Bank is the exclusive issuer and merchant acquirer of American Express Credit Cards in Bangladesh.
