Worldwide monthly console unit sales 2024, by region
In June 2024, the PlayStation 5 was the best-selling gaming console worldwide, selling an estimated one million units, around 365 thousand of which were sold in the Americas, where PS 5 was also maintaining the lead in unit sales. The Nintendo Switch trailed the PS5 closely in the Americas, where it sold some 230 thousand units in the same month. The strongest region for the Switch, however, was Asia, where it sold about 253 thousand units in June 2024.
