Bud Light is the most popular beer brand in the United states, followed closely by Corona Extra. The two brands are also neck-and-neck in terms of brand awareness and consumption share.

With 88 and 87 percent brand awareness respectively, Bud Light and Corona Extra are the most well-known beer brands in the United States. The third spot on this list is shared between Budweiser and Heineken, as both are recognized by 86 percent of surveyed consumers. Other well-recognized beer brands in the U.S. include Coors, Miller, Busch, and Michelob Ultra, to name a few. Meanwhile, brands like Brooklyn Brewery and New Belgium Brewing have room to grow in our beer brand recognition ranking, as both are recognized by less than one-third of consumers in the United States.

Bud Light tops the beer popularity ranking

Bud Light is the most popular beer brand in the United States, with 33 percent of respondents liking it, followed by Corona Extra. Budweiser and Heineken share the third spot in the popularity ranking, followed by Blue Moon. Brands like Beck's, Natural Light, and Pabst Blue Ribbon trail behind in terms of consumer preference.

They who drink beer drink AB InBev

The top three beer brands with the highest consumption share in the United States are owned by the Belgian company AB InBev. This includes joint top-ranked Bud Light, Budweiser, and Corona Extra. Brooklyn Brewery, while having the lowest brand awareness in our survey, shows an impressive consumption share: 22 percent of respondents who know the brand drink it.
