Shibboleth is an authentication method for web applications and services. This access type is used by educational institutions in particular.
Shibboleth facilitates the login procedure considerably. With this method, students only have to authenticate with their institution once, in order to access Statista off campus. The Shibboleth method, moreover, ensures that only authenticated users can use the account.
HINT: You can contact the Statista Customer Service for the activation of the Shibboleth access for your institution. Please have your institution's Entity ID to hand.
If your institution has a Shibboleth access to our platform, then you can log in as follows:
1 – Accessing the login page
Go to the login page by clicking on the top right login button on the navigation bar. At the right hand side, next to the login form you can see more access types. Click on Campus Access.

2 – Choosing your institution
Clicking on Campus Access will direct you to a page where you can select your institution. Simply select your institution and click on Submit.

3 – Registration via the Shibboleth login page
You will now be directed to your institution’s Shibboleth login page. You will be logged into your institution’s Statista account following registration on this authentication page.
