This program will benefit 10,000 children from 3,000 families across the country, with the majority coming from the nine districts where SOS Children's Villages already operates. We’re working with all 9 SOS projects in order to provide food, education, and livelihood. As an immediate step SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka will be providing Relief Assistnace for the first six months and with the new school year that came up we’ve also started providing educational kits to identified children.
