Till date, I cannot count how many testimonials and messages that
flood my inbox daily, appreciating me for creating this group. That's
truly the best part of what I do. If you're new to Online Business and
have no idea how to navigate the Tech space, Facebook Groups are a
great way to start sharing your message, building an audience and
monetizing your knowledge and I am excited to help you do just that.
Be simple enough.
Be in line with your message.
Be memorable so your audience can easily
remember and share it.
Be unique. You don't want to go naming your
group with a name someone else already has.
be able to be abbreviated reasonably if it is
quite long (My group's name is long - Online
Publishers and Entrepreneurs Network, but is
easily abbreviated to OPEN. Everyone
remembers OPEN.
Must have a reasonable acronym if
abbreviated. See mine above.
Have an informal brand name or a nick name
you and your audience call each other. My
audience and I call ourselves OPENers. It's
always fun when we meet each other offline.
Let's Name Your Group
What name have you chosen for your group? Does it fulfil all
the requirements above?
Now try yours. Find your X, Y and Z and then put it all together.
To invite people to your group, you have to share your link with
them. That's the URL you customized when you were editing your
settings. If you don't know how to find it, just open your group on
desktop and the url that comes up in the address bar is your
group's link. Copy and save it. you will need it.
For them to access this freebie, they have to click on the link to
your group and join in. If you don't have a lead magnet, now is a
good time to create one. A simple 4-page pdf or a free webinar on a
valuable topic will do. Design a cover for the pdf or a flier for the
webinar and add it to the post where you invite people to join your
group. Don't forget to include your link.
What will your lead magnet be? What will the title be?
