Contributing MembersContributing Members join the organization with voting rights in both the Domain Technical Committee and Platform Technical Committee.
Domain MembersDomain Members may represent organizations within vertical industries that internally implement and deploy object technology.
Platform MembersPlatform Members may represent organizations, which produce infrastructure products, which are used across many application domains. Typically they are submitters and implementers of OMG specifications such as CORBA and UML.
Influencing MembersInfluencing Members are critical participants and a voting force within Special Interest Groups and Task Forces.
Government MembersGovernment Members generally represent government agencies and have all the same privileges of Influencing Members.
Trial MembersMay attend all meetings, but attendance is limited to one person per company NO voting privileges.
Analyst MembersAnalyst Members are industry experts who need to network with OMG members and stay in touch with all aspects of distributed computing technology.
University MembersMay attend all meetings Participatory and Voting rights within SIGs and Task Forces.
