The ceremony took place at Brixton Academy on January 27th and was hosted by Eddie Vedder. It saw the Verve winning four Brat awards and frontman Richard Ashcroft saying: “It’s important for us to thank the fans who took the time to vote for us in the poll.”
Beck, who won Best Solo Artist, sent in an acceptance video of him in a jacuzzi surrounded by his band wearing horse masks. Meanwhile Radiohead, who won Best Album, sent an acceptance video from Japan.
