Black, Dimel married July 26 Kim Marie Black and Dana August Dimel were married July 26 at the First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Gene Taylor officiated. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. James Black of Chapman and Mr. and Mrs. John Dimel of Columbus, Ohio. The bride wore a gown of crystal organza accented with schiffli lace, featuring a beaded bodice with a Queen Anne neckline and gathered leg of mutton sleeves. Maid of honor was Cathy Kolenda of Kansas City. Bridesmaids were Traci Gisel of Austin, Texas, Carla Brink of Kansas City, and Tina Black, sister-in-law of the bride from Riley. Amber Riegel, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl. Edward John Early of Ypsilanti, Mich. was best man. Groomsmen were Jim Mahaney of New York, N.Y., Jim Purdy of Winston Salem, N.C. and James Rice of Hamilton, Ohio. Ushers were Kerry Black, brother of the bride of Omaha, Neb., Kevin Black, brother of the bride, of Riley, and Mathew Dimel, brother of the bridegroom, of Cleveland, Ohio. John Riegel, nephew of the bridegroom of Columbus, Ohio was ring bearer. A reception, dinner and dance at the Manhattan Country Club followed the ceremony. The bride is a 1981 graduate of Chapman High School, and a 1985 graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is employed at the Civilian Personnel Office at Fort Riley. The bridegroom is a 1981 graduate of Upper Arlington High School in Columbus, Ohio and will graduate in December from Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in marketing. Following a wedding trip to Kansas City, the couple is at home in Manhattan.
