Trerice, Cornwall
This collection has 1,141 items online
An intimate and delightful manor house, Trerice is a Cornish gem. Parts of the house have different characters reflecting the different owners, but the principal family were the Arundells. The Eltons (tenants) made considerable changes to the building in the twentieth century. The fine collection includes 17th - 19th century furniture; a collection of clocks, paintings (including a self portrait by John Opie, the Cornish child prodigy) and a collection of 17th century embroidered pictures.
