They’re the five girls with the toughest job in music... acting as body doubles for Britain’s hottest girl group.
They have been picked to star as the alter egos of The Saturdays – Rochelle, Vanessa, Frankie, Mollie and Una – in their latest music video.
The real Saturdays are so impressed by their lookalikes they have nicknamed them The FRIDAYS.
The doubles will appear in the video for new single Gentlemen which sees the girls come face to face with “themselves”.
Rather than using computer effects to duplicate the girls the directors wanted to hire models to play them.
The stand-ins include the WAG wife of former Liverpool and Aston Villa striker Emile Heskey, 35. Chantelle Tegoe, 29, plays Rochelle Humes, 23, who is currently pregnant.
The others chosen include models Ella Betts as Mollie King, 25, Victoria Doyle as Una Healy, 31, and Chanita Stevens as Vanessa White, 23.
Completing the line-up is dress designer Victoria Barker, who stars as Frankie Sandford, 24.
The lookalikes went through an X Factor-style casting process to land their roles.
Each had to turn up for several auditions with directors before they were approved by the band member they were to play on screen.
A source close to the band – who landed their first Number 1 last week with their single What About Us? – said: “Finding five girls who look exactly like The Saturdays was a nightmare for the directors of the video.
“They placed adverts several months ago with model agencies for girls to come forward, and they sifted through hundreds of applications.
“They were really happy with the five they settled on and fans watching the video will struggle to tell the difference.”
Filming using “The Fridays” took place last month at a studio in London.
Before the recording The Saturdays tweeted: “Working with the first-ever Sats body doubles on our video shoot! Shall we call them the Fridays?!”
WAG Chantelle jokily replied: “Can u tell who I was?”
After the shoot Chantelle, who has two children with Emile, tweeted: “This has been a long day of filming with @TheSaturdays but its been fun.
“The girls r luvly x can’t wait to see the final cut x.”
