Hollywood actor Steven Seagal arrived in Azerbaijan on September 21, where he was received by President Ilham Aliyev,

Seagal reportedly praised the inaugural European Games as well as the participation of a large number of athletes in the competitions. However, the agenda of the visit was not disclosed. It is also unclear who invited the US actor.
Previously, Steven Seagal had visited Russia, where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, who reportedly has a personal friendship with Seagal.
