I am an administrator on Metal Archives. I am one of the policy experts for the site. In other words, I can explain why we do the things we do and help resolve any issues that come up. I can be reached by email, forum PM, or on our site's Discord server. I enjoy chatting with and getting to know others in the metal scene.
Beyond my work as an administrator, I try to keep the pages for pagan and viking metal bands up-to-date and accurate. I also write reviews, as well as moderate reviews submitted to the site. Lately, I've gotten into the habit of tracking and sometimes rating the albums of certain genres of metal (mostly black, pagan, viking). You can see that progress here: https://y.gy/4Sf2
Offline, you will probably find me at the gym. I'm a former personal trainer and now an aspiring bodybuilder. I like to lift heavy things and put them back down again.
My favorite genres of metal are viking, pagan, black, death, doom, and sludge. Friends joke that I'm a big fan of Bathory and Bathory accessories - they're not wrong. I really like albums which have a cohesive narrative/story. Good riffs reign supreme!
