Madrid Airport Bus
A one-way ticket to the main Canillejas Transport Hub is 1.50 Euro. Line 101 goes from Madrid Airport Terminals 1, 2 and 3. From here there are connections to several city buses and to the Madrid Metro about every 15 minutes. Departures are on Floor 1 in Terminal 1 and Floor 2 in Terminal 2 . The bus runs from 6am to 11:25 pm (7:30am-11:25pm on Sundays and holidays). It is an inexpensive (routes starting at 1.50 Euro) way to get into town.
The Airport Express is a 24-hour service which has only 3 stops after the airport: O’Donell, Plaza de Cibeles and Atocha (this last stop only during the daytime hours between 6 am and 11.30pm). The buses run every 15 minutes during the day and every 35 at night, and the journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Tickets cost 5 euros and may be bought on board, cash only. The express bus can be found outside at terminals T1, T2 and T4. If you arrive at T3 you will need to take the internal bus.
It can also be difficult with this option to get to your end destination as it only makes three stops.
