It might take quite a few liberties in terms of historical accuracy but it just has this energy, passion, and presentation from the players and the world they have built around them to show case.
Every single actor big and small brings 110 percent in their performances and the costumes (I got a thing for chicks in powdered wigs X3) and set designs and musical scores are incredible!
This is just one of those films where the people in front of the camera and behind it loved what they were doing and it really shows!

That perfect live action (dark) looney tunes Christmas film for the whole family :D (maybe; not really :3).
But, seriously there is a lot of fun to be had with Gremlins.
-Great creature designs and effects.
-Both the wacky and dark humor work very well.
-Are two leads are likable and Gizmo is adorable.
-Mrs. Peltzer is one of the most bad-ass metal movie Moms of all time!
-Violence sweet sweet good ol’ fashioned family violence :D

A fun and nice film about a rising star that was snuffed out too soon with some nice little nods and tributes to the real Valens.

This is a good animated film but there are so many characters that everyone of their story arcs is fighting for attention and more time.
The fact that the celebrity voice actors actually sang the songs that were showcased in the movie is pretty cool and the songs for each character are pretty fitting from what they are going through in the film and their personality types.
Some of the humor is kinda lame at times and the plot points pretty much play out as you would expect. The animation is also pretty standard.
But, I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy the finale even if getting there seemed more to serve the plot instead of feeling organic.

This is a film that just gets better and better every time I watch it.
The premise fantastic.
The art direction and effects fantastic.
The performances top notch everyone brought their A game!
The only issue I have with this film is that it does not seem to have a real ending as it just sort of stops but that issue does not ruin the experience for me at least :)

A great Western buddy film that any western fan should check out.
Seriously the way the characters play off each other you really feel that sense of comradery between them.
That is what I think really shines in the best Westerns not just the great gun play action, adventure, romance, scores, breath taking landscape and location shots, but the interpersonal relationships between all the players and how they depend, help, and live with each other.

You ever start a film just to watch a bit for old memories sake and end up watching the whole thing? That is what this is to me. A comedy that is not just funny but also engaging! The winning combination!

This movie is the greatest environment message movie of all time that I am almost convinced that it was not made by a human. Now the environment is an important issue but film after film (especially animated ones) fail to present the message in a subtle and balanced representation.
I do not want to name names but maybe a film from 2012 that rhymes with Snorlax is one of the most condescending and hypocritical recent examples that come to mind.
You see the environmental message in this film is present but it does not cause the story and characters to take a back seat to it. It weaves itself into the story and instead of talking down to the audience and wagging fingers at them for not knowing more about the environment it instead trusts the audience to pick it up and understand it for themselves! If you want to win hearts and minds to what you are trying to say you have present it like this.
And biggest of all. It does not have the one sided message that is almost always humans are bad and nature is good mantra about it. Instead it shows us both the heart and the underbelly of both sides and stresses that we have to co-exist with one another. BRILLIANT!!! It understands and it is brilliant and beautiful for doing so!
But, everything else about this movie is incredible too the characters, the story, the music, the setting, the animation (dear God the animation is beautiful) if you have not seen this one check it out for yourself and see what you have been missing! Definatley one if not the best Studio Ghibli films out there hell one if not the best animated films out there (and that is a tough contest I tell ya)!

Now this film is interesting. Normally I would say a film needs to stand by itself so new comers can get into it. But, when you are based off the best selling Manga in the world (yes you heard that right) that has been going since 1997 and an anime series that has been airing since 1999 you might be lost on some things because they do weave in a bit of the lore here and our main characters have come so far in their journey that if this is your first One Piece property you may not be as into it.
However, by itself it is still a lot of fun our colorful cast of characters even if you are unfamiliar with them have a lot of personality and comradery between them. They are in an interesting setting, the villains are pretty fun and memorable, a lot of laughs to be had, and since this is a Toei film the animation look great (because they actually put effort into their animation in their films and specials . . . unlike certain tv shows ahem).
But, seriously I think if you just want to watch this and it is your first One Piece property then you will have fun! But, seriously get on reading the manga or watching that anime from the start it is one voyage you will not regret sailing on! ^-^

This is the film they made to sum up the events that happened in the famous anime Neon Genesis Evangelion from 1996 in preparation for the new movie. However, if the anime tv show is still fresh in your mind you can just skip this one and go to The End of Evangelion because even the new scenes they show in this film are in TEOE. But, if you have been away from the series for a while then this is a good re fresher!

DO NOT watch this is you have not yet seen the TV series as this film is the conclusion (although that is still riddle with controversy).
No spoilers here so feel free to read.
After the budget ran out for the tv series fans were clamoring to get a proper ending and this to me at least is very great it blew my mind all over the sidewalk and with a lot of great anime more is being said then what is just being shown.
However, this ending also caused controversy so much so that they would make more films years later to retell the whole series :O (and also take a long a$$ time to reach the finale XP) and I understand why for me I thought it was a pretty interesting choice but I can understand why people would be mad or even unsatisfied with this ending hell part of me wants more closure too!
But, if you have watched the tv series then this is a must watch for you! See it and have your mind blown all over the sidewalk :D
