'Manchmal gibt es einfach Streit'.
Dagmar Geisler is a Munich-based children's book author and illustrator. Coming from Hessen, she studied Commication Design with a focus on illustration in Wiesbaden. She then spent several years in Frankfurt am Main, where she worked at the local cultural organization Romanfabrik, alongside other writers and illustrators. Geisler regularly makes use of speech balloons and sequential narratives in her illustration work. Her best known series are 'Wandas Welt', 'Chaoscomics von Luis' and 'Die Tintenkleckser', but she has also made several guidebooks about the emotional development of children for Loewe Verlag.
Dealing with diverse subjects like anger, arguing parents and strangers on the street, these books include 'Wohin mit meiner Wut?' (2012) 'Ich geh doch nicht verloren!' (2013), 'Wann hab ich eigentlich genug?' (2014), 'Manchmal gibt es einfach Streit' (2015) and 'Ich geh doch nicht mit Jedem mit!' (2016). For older children, she made the illustrations for 'Ganz Schön aufgeklärt' (1993), a Loewe publication about sexuality.
