Supachok Sarachat will be staying with Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo for the long term.
The 24-year-old Thai national team star joined Consadole on loan in July and immediately featured in the team, coming off the bench seven times and picking up three assists to help the club rise up the table and ensure another season in the top flight.
Now, the Sapporo side have made the loan deal a permanent transfer with Buriram United, ensuring their new talent will wear the black and red kit in 2023.
Sarachat joins Kawasaki Frontale’s Chanathip Songkrasin as Thai stars in the Japanese top flight, with both taking part in the J.League Asia Challenge 2022 currently unfolding in their home country. They build upon the legacy of the likes of Theerathon Bunmathan, who won the title with Yokohama F·Marinos in 2019, and Teerasil Dangda as great Thai players in the recent J.League history.
