Big Man on Mulberry Street

It really is a pleasure to see the talent and chemistry that Bruce and Cibyll had, this added to a wonderfully written script makes an episode 10 points. We begin with a typical discussion between the protagonists in the office, David arrives late and in a deplorable state to a work breakfast which makes Maddie explode, as usual in this third season the discussion is a step of brilliant and intelligent comedy. David informs Maddie that her former son-in-law died in an accident and must travel to New York, this upsets Maddie who did not know that David had been married. On impulse she follows him to Los Angeles to tag along, they each have their solo monologue moments and they're both great. In the middle we have a bonus which is a dance number to a Billy Joel theme from Maddie's dream. I never tire of repeating that the chemistry of both go beyond the screen and make the romance that is evident and that until now both refuse to see absolutely believable.
