The FAI Facility Development Unit is dedicated to promoting the growth of high-quality football facilities at the local, regional, and national levels. We collaborate closely with essential partners, providing guidance on quality benchmarks and offering assistance with technical inquiries, comprehensive master planning, and expert design advice throughout all phases of football infrastructure projects.
There is a whole range of grant options to help grow your club, with the most important being the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme.
Clubs start their journey at Entry Level and can then progress to become a One Star and Two Star club. Each step challenges the club to implement policies and procedures in line with best practice.
