Use of the e-shot platform

The e-shot solution allows clients to create and share bulk messages via email and SMS. Data relating to interactions of individual contacts with these bulk messages including opens, clicks and subsequent website interactions can be tracked and recorded. We do not control the content of these messages or the contact data used to target and personalise messages. The solution can also be used to help organise and analyse contact and company information including information that may be of a commercially sensitive nature in relation to the client’s business.

Information can be added to the platform via a variety of methods including online completion of forms by individual contacts along with bulk adding and updating by way of uploading and integration. The information added to the platform is stored and managed in a secure and compliant manner on our servers, which are hosted securely by our hosting partner.

Use of personal data

Forfront complies with all applicable data protection regulations. We act as a Data Processor on behalf of clients using the e-shot platform.

The client is the Data Controller in respect of any personal data that we process in the course of providing services. The personal data is derived from data provided by the client and is not checked or monitored by us and, accordingly, We have no liability or responsibility whatsoever howsoever arising directly or indirectly to the client for the accuracy, contents or use of such personal data.

We warrant that we will not disclose any personal data to any business, organisation or individual without the client's prior written consent, unless required by law;

We have no responsibility or liability for the storage or back up of client data and although backups shall be carried out at regular intervals, the client shall remain entirely responsible for making its own back-up of such data if required. We shall incur no direct or indirect liability to the client for any loss or damage, however caused, arising from any loss of data arising under this clause;

We shall not use any client data except in connection with the provision of services to the client as set out in the Terms and Conditions of Service or as required by law, regulation or regulatory body or any court of competent jurisdiction. The client shall always comply with its obligations under all applicable Data Protection Legislation when using the e-shot platform.

Functions relating to the processing of personal data

Unsubscribe

If a contact unsubscribes from communication, e-shot will never send messages to that contact again. Even if the contact is included in other campaigns or deleted and reuploaded to the database, it is not possible to override the unsubscribe unless proof is provided by the data subject of their consent to resubscribe. SMS opt out facilities are also automated and can be managed separately from email unsubscribes.

Automatic unsubscribe

Every email sent via e-shot automatically includes a header unsubscribe to automatically process unsubscribes submitted via this method.

Preferences

Granular consent can be captured, processed, updated and automatically adhered to using e-shot’s Preference Centre function.

Double opt-in

To prevent erroneous and malicious data entering your database, new subscribers can be subjected to a double opt-in process that prevents accidental use of the submitted data, unless verified.

Compliant footer

Every email sent automatically contains a compliant footer with the relevant legal information and unsubscribe links. If this information is accidentally deleted from a design, it will be automatically \Lre-added to the sent communication.

Spam monitoring

Using sophisticated self-learning algorithms, we scan emails to improve deliverability and recognise potential patterns of abuse. We scan for bad URLs and questionable keywords combining these stats with cleansing services, blacklist information.
