Police seek public’s help in finding attacker
DEARBORN — Police have asked the public’s help in finding two people who attacked a woman in the parking lot of Taco Bell, 8956 W. Warren Ave., Feb. 9, leaving the woman unconscious. Police said that after a traffic dispute about 10:20 p.m., a man and woman assaulted the victim. The man “body slammed” the victim on the pavement, which rendered her unconscious. DEARBORN — Police have asked the public’s help in identifying people of interest following a shooting about 5:30 a.m. Jan. 5 at Ram’s Horn, 6356 Greenfield Road. Witnesses described an early morning altercation that escalated to several gunshots being fired at a vehicle as it left the parking lot, police said. Witnesses said the people involved in the altercation had been speaking with staff near the hostess stand prior to the shooting. DEARBORN – Public Service Days—and their parking restrictions — go into effect March 4. They are scheduled to last through Dec. 13. The Public Service Day for each neighborhood coincides with that neighborhood’s trash collection day. Once Public Service Days begin for the season, residents must remove their parked vehicle from their neighborhood street on their regular trash day, starting March 4. Longtime city cashier dies at 59

The 59-year-old Dearborn resident worked as a cashier associate and bookkeeper in the Department of Finance Treasury Division since 1999. New Yasmeen Bakery founder dies at 75

Seblini became ill and spent about a month at Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak before he died. DEARBORN – The Martian Invasion of Races will return to Dearborn for its 14th running April 13. This “out of this world” fitness event brings over 6,000 runners, walkers and Martians of all ages and abilities to cover 5K, 10K, half marathon, 26K, full marathon or kids’ marathon.
