Who WE Are – Jahlil Fell
This 7th grade McCullough student saw a need at his school and decided to do something about it. With the help of his mentor, Tom Harrigan, Jahlil started collected more than 700 articles of clothing in just one week! Everything from coats to clothing were donated to the Clothing Bank of Delaware. Jahlil got his inspiration after taking part in an after-school program at the Boy’s and Girl’s Club called Mike’s TEAM…that’s Teaching Excellence Through Academic Mentoring. Jahlil also was nominated as the Clarence Fraim Club’s Junior Youth of the Year, a competition that is under the umbrella of Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s nationwide Youth of the Year program.
