Bears wide receiver Tom Waddle always has tried to impress his father-in-law.
That extra effort will be there again Saturday. In fact, maybe even a bit more than it usually is.
You see, Waddle’s father-in-law is former Patriots wide receiver and kicking great Gino Cappelletti.
“My father-in-law does all the radio work for them, so he has been privy to all the hysteria there,” said Waddle, who returned to action Sunday after missing five games with a knee injury and will face a defense that features right cornerback Maurice Hurst, who leads the team with seven interceptions.
“They’re excited up there and they have a good football team.”
