1Louis & Louise Cahen d’Anvers-de Morpurgo Paris • 1880 According to Dauberville no. 506, the portrait was commissioned by Louis Cahen d’Anvers, but in 1900, the painting was exhibited as a loan from Mme L. Cahen d’Anvers (Exposition A. Renoir, Galeries Bernheim-Jeune, Paris 1900, no. 14).
