Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez, aka J.Lo, is a pop soloist credited with influencing the Latin dance music boom of the 2000s. Her birthday is July 24, 1969 and she stands at a height of 5’4½” . Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, she was a successful TV and film actress known for playing Selena Quintanilla-Pérez in the 1997 biopic 'Selena' before bursting into the music industry in 1999 with debut album On The 6, the lead single of which, “If You Had My Love,” was No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for five weeks and earned Lopez her first Grammy nomination. Continuing her movie career with beloved rom-coms like 'The Wedding Planner' and 'Monster-In-Law,' she established herself as a multi-talented singer, dancer and performer with hits like 2002’s “Jenny From The Block” and “I’m Gonna Be Alright” feat. Nas. Her 2001 collaborations with Ja Rule, “I’m Real” and “Ain’t It Funny,” both went No. 1 on the Hot 100, as did her 2002 duet with LL Cool J, “All I Have.” Her music career later experienced a resurgence in 2011 with Pitbull collaboration “On The Floor,” after which the pair teamed up again for 2012’s “Dance Again” and 2014’s “Booty” with Iggy Azalea. In 2022, Lopez announced that she’d be releasing her ninth album 'This Is Me… Now' as a followup to her 2002 record. 'This Is Me… Then,' inspired heavily by her rekindled romance with Ben Affleck.
