the idea for the figure was good, but the outcome was not great. this is basically just a statue almost no joints, but the cape is heavy and the outfit didnt translate too well from the movie, the differences between the plasctic on the pants, coat, gloves and boots doesnt look great. the upper coat isnt nice looking,
the figure falls often and the gloves and boots feel sticky.

Ok let's be honest most people buying this "toy" are not looking to play with it so lets skip right over that part of this review! The doll its self is huge 12" tall and about 6" wide. The hat and swords are both removable so you can pose him with the hat on head or in hand, same wiht hte swords. The main problem with him is that he doesn't stnad well on his own. You can move the hands, amrs, torse, head, legs and feet all sererately BUT he is VERY BACK HEAVY> you have to position him so one leg is back and the other front (alot as though he's doing splits!) and bend the torse forward, it gives the neat affect as though he is bowing. But he won't stay that way for long. We placed him on a high shelf in our house and the first time a door was slaamed he feel, taking my Jareth (David Bowie in Labyrinth) and Biggy Smalls Collectables with him (as I said he has a wide spance!) I have purchanced a doll stand for him, now he goes no where!

When I bought this item I knew I was buying an average quality item but even with this in mind it wasn't good!
My figure have a black scratch on his nose and the whole figure is covered with dust like thing, and they have put some details in the mask to make it look old and this is not a movie accurate thing.
it's just a memorabilia for an amazing movie that I wish nobody will take a closer look at.

One of the most important pieces of 20th century literature made into toy form. The sound clips worked good (just wish they were a pinch clearer) One gripe I have as a fanboy would be that they glued the little clear plastic that holds the the hat to the cardboard. It can peel off some of the cool background that is in the package. All in all though, cool toy.

You would have to be a real fan to get any pleasure from this product by Neca. The figure is not really poseable, and cheaply made. If you want a better product buy any of the figures by Hasbro or Character Options. Sound bites, more poor quality sound gripes, very poor quality that left a lot to be desired. All in all a bit of a let down. I loved the movie but really was not happy by the standard of the 'Action figure' and would not recommend buying it at any price. The V figure is more a disposable than collectible. My recommendation, kit bash a decent figure and watch the movie which is GREAT!
