Hybrids by ABT
As an innovation-driven vehicle tuner, we are not only focusing on the improvement of traditional drive systems. On the basis of our experience in Formula E and our subsidiary ABT e-Line, which is driving the electrification of VW commercial vehicles, the improvement of hybrid drives is also a logical progression for us.
In 2020, we introduced the first performance upgrade for a plug-in hybrid vehicle, the Audi Q5 55 TFSI e quattro. An upgrade of the combustion engine increased the total series performance from 367 HP (270 kW) and 500 Nm to an impressive system performance of 425 HP (313 kW) and 550 Nm.
The Audi A6, A7 and A8, Q7 and Q8 were next to receive this treatment, among others.

Our engineers have now taken on another popular generation of engines - the 1.4 TSI e.
We are now able to unleash a system performance of 275 HP (202 kW) and 440 Nm from the CUPRA Formentor VZ e-Hybrid, among others. The newly developed ABT Power New Generation performance upgrade boosts the output of the petrol from 150 HP (110 kW) and 250 Nm to 180 HP (132 kW) and 290 Nm.
HybridPower, which is also available for stable mates the Leon E-Hybrid, Skoda Octavia RS, Golf VIII GTE and Audi A3 45 TFSI e. In addition, the 1.4. TSI e is generally available in a range of models with a lower system performance (204 HP/150 kW) depending on the electric motor.
But our hybrids offer more than just an increase in power. Visual enhancements such as ABT sport rims are also available.
