Luxurious five-door model with 384 hp - the S5 Sportback

The technology of the S5 was upgraded by Audi in the middle of 2019 and is now resplendent with, among other things, a 48-volt on-board power supply and a mild hybrid system. As a power source, there is now a 347 hp (255 kW) TDI, which provides a maximum torque of 700 Nm.

From 0 to 100 km/h, even this standard S5 TDI – with 4.9 seconds – beats the magical 5-second limit by a narrow margin. But the Audi can do even better – with the newly developed ABT Power performance upgrade. To achieve this, we use the high-tech control unit ABT Engine Control (AEC). In doing so, the available power increases to 384 hp (282 kW) and the maximum torque is boosted to 760 Nm.

Wheels and suspension

The S5’s transverse dynamics are tuned to perfection with ABT height adjustable-suspension springs. They facilitate adjustable lowering from 15 to 40 mm at the front and rear axles and can be optionally combined with ABT anti-roll bars.

In addition to lowering, 19-inch and 20-inch ABT Sport GR, DR, ER-C and FR-C alloy wheels further enhance the appearance of the vehicle. The glossy black finish combines perfectly with a black paint of the car, and a stark contrast is provided by the diamond-machined rim flange. Other visual features are the recessed hub area, forked spokes and the concave wheel design. But our portfolio contains many more exciting product alternatives.

TRANSFORM THE S5 TO AN ABT

ABT Audi S5 Coupé

Just like the S5 Sportback, the Coupé is currently only available with the 347 hp diesel (255 kW). Thanks to ABT Power, however, it produces 384 hp (282 kW), which leads to an increase in torque from 700 Nm to 760 Nm. Despite the extra power, the vehicle´s engines are not overloaded.
We therefore also offer the best warranty service: "We are confident in our work. The customer not only notices this but also benefits from it," confirms Hans-Jürgen Abt, Managing Director. As the performance is to be heard and felt, but not necessarily to be seen, the sporting cars from Ingolstadt receive discreet ABT emblems on the rear and the front grille. The ABT sports rims are another Power-Plus indication. Various 19 and 20 inch wheel rims are available in different colors. The highlight is of course the new 20 inch ABT Sport GR wheel rim available in "matt black" or "glossy black".

The Audi also offers something different on the inside. The special character of the vehicle can be seen directly as the door is opened and the ABT logo entry lights project on the surface. And for the special something there is ABT individual, where almost every request can be fulfilled. "ABT vehicles are not only quality at the highest level, but also offer extensive possibilities for individualization. Only this way we can continue to exceed high expectations", Hans-Jürgen Abt sums up his team's particular capabilities.

ABT Audi S5 Cabrio

Cruise ships are popular. After all, you can relax in the sun on deck while the nicest travel destinations in the world just seem to float by – even though in reality it’s actually the other way round. Anyone who prefers a more active role, should drive a fast convertible, such as the new Audi S5. Four fast “deck chairs” invite you to cruise. The engine room has 354 HP (260 kW) and the maximum torque is 500 Nm. Hans-Jürgen Abt, captain of the tuning company bearing his name in Bavaria, can provide even more thrust if required.

Thanks to ABT Power with a specially developed control unit, the currently fastest model of the A5 convertible has received a 20 % power boost to reach 425 HP (313 kW) and a maximum torque of 550 Nm. “Overall, the performance is now very close to the Audi RS5, which is currently only available as a coupe,” says Hans-Jürgen Abt. Extensive testing and developing, as well as comprehensive warranties, protect the owner from experiencing shipwreck.

While boat owners might use tires as a common replacement for fenders to protect their vessel from being damaged in the harbor, the high performance tires on the Audi S5 become real works of art thanks to ABT. And the customers have a selection of four different alloy wheels. The DR and ER-C designs are available as 19 or 20 inch rims and the FR and GR designs are available in 20 inch. Depending on the model selected, a variety of finishes is available: from mystic black to silverbullet all the way up to matt black and glossy black. Several designs also have a diamond-machined finish on some surfaces. All the stated models can also be purchased at ABT Sportsline as complete wheel sets, either with Dunlop or Continental tires.

To give the captain’s cabin an exclusive look, ABT Sportsline also offers integrated entrance lights, which project the ABT logo onto the ground via LEDs. Special floor mats and valve caps complete the picture and show that nothing has been left to chance. Those with an even more exclusive taste can contact the ABT Individual crew who are able to fulfill almost any special request.

World premiere: ABT RS5-R

ABT RS5-R roams supercar territory with 530 HP

ABT Sportsline has hidden an entire subcompact car in the power boost for the current Audi RS5. “On the ABT RS5-R, we get an additional 80 HP and 90 Nm from the 2.9 liter biturbo V6, which has a very similar design to the engine in the first Audi RS4,” CEO Hans-Jürgen Abt proudly explains.
