Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming Korean variety show, Agents of Mystery, starring aespa‘s Karina. Read on for everything you need to know about the show’s plot, cast, premiere date and more.
What is the plot of Netflix’s new variety show?
According to a press release by Netflix, the series will follow “six personalities [as they] find themselves as agents transported to secretive sites to investigate cases and complete missions with their combined intellect. Amid mysteries and clues, their skills and teamwork are put to the ultimate test.”
“Agents of Mystery weaves together brain games and collaborative problem-solving with six agents making one special team,” the streamer added, saying that the show is “all about mystery in detailed large-scale set designs”.
Who’s in the cast of Agents of Mystery?
The six agents who will be leading Netflix’s latest Korean variety show are comedians Lee Yong-jin and Lee Eun-ji, Korean-American singer John Park, Reply 1988 actress Lee Hye-ri, Moving star Kim Do-hoon and K-pop idol Karina from the girl group aespa.
Notaly, Agents of Mystery is produced by Jeong Jong-yeon, who is best known for his work on popular variety and game shows such as The Devil’s Plan, The Great Escape and High School Mystery Club.
Is there a trailer for Agents of Mystery?
The first teaser for the upcoming Netflix variety show was released on May 21. It previews the six celebrity agents meeting for the first time, as well as the wacky situations they’ll find themselves in throughout the course of the programme.
