Wow, talk about a blast from the past review wise. Was this an answer to the Miller "Red Dog" entrance into the market in the 90s? I think so.

Red in the name beer pours amber and red. More color than yellow AAL. This was back when something 5.4% was "strong" like ice beer. Aroma was heavy on the corn and alcohol though, not pleasant.

This stuff seemed thicker, stronger. Had a ton of carbonation, stinging alcohol, long boil high alpha acid no flavor hops. It was basically an AAL but with enough roasted malt that it took on another color but almost zero flavor from the different malt that was beyond the color of yellow. I guess image was everything to this beer.

I cannot believe I have never reviewed Red Wolf.

Pours a (wait for it) reddish amber, with a gold tint to it. Big white foam head.

Smells like familiar corn skunk lager, and tastes ... like familiar corn skunk lager (with maybe a bit more body and heft to it).

One of the better macrobrews, which isn't saying much. Too carbonated and the mouthfeel is watery and thin.

A: Copper-amber beer, probably from tincture. chimical head, we must think it's a blond lager with red-color.
N: nothing there,
T: very light, some malt on the palate. short.
M:very thin, bland.
D: In the style of rickard's red. no real interest for the beer lover

Appearance: reddish color, small head, no laceing

Smell: generic sweety, nothing else

Taste: light body, watery, very little malt and hops, nothing else

Not much to this beer. Why do I waste my time drink this macro pap?? Red color, medium head. Aroma is grainy and sweet. Not very malty, not very hoppy beer. Lighter taste, not much flavor, a hint of malt sweetness. Mouthfeel is a little spritzy. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

The pour is damn impressive for a macro. Amber with a big off-white head that leaves lace. Aroma is sweet, but it is a bit bitter if you take a closer whiff.

The flavor is bitter. Not really a "red" flavor. Some malts, but you can tell it is A-B. Not easy at all to drink. I got a free 6er of this, and that is the only way I would ever get it. I will definitely not drink any more than 1, and I may not even finish one. Skunky and dirty tasting. It tastes like bad water.

Amber in color. Slightly watery with a light, burnt malt taste. Very, almost eerily similar to Killian's. This was (is?) a very weak attempt to market a specialty/amber lager. Thin and not really worth the time.

Head:Thick creemy rich malty to the taste
Body:Sharp clear well carbonated.Nice amber hue.
Taste:Malty caramel with a little hops.

This is one hell of a beer ,good alternative to bud!
