Senior Terrorist Commander Killed in Clashes with Syrian Army in Aleppo
TEHRAN (FNA)- A notorious field commander of Ahrar al-Sham was killed in heavy fighting with the Syrian Army troops and popular forces in the Southwestern countryside of Aleppo.

Abu Mohammad al-Sari and a number of his forces were killed in a tough battle in Aleppo city's districts.

Fierce clashes are underway near al-Hekmah school in Southwestern side of Aleppo city.

Reports said earlier today that Syrian army and popular forces repelled offensives of Fatah al-Sham Front (newly formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorists group previously known as al-Nusra Front) on government forces' strongholds in the Southern and Southwestern countryside of Aleppo city.

Fatah al-Sham suffered a heavy death toll and its military hardware sustained major damage in their unsuccessful offensive due to strong defense of Syrian government forces.
