TWICE Sells 150,000 Records!
[by Yanchingsally Chu] TWICE’s second mini album ‘Page Two’ has reached 150,000 unit sales in just three and a half month.
On
April 25, TWICE released its album ‘Page Two’ and more than 100,000
units were sold until mid-May, making it the first girl group having a
sales record of more than 100,000 units this year.
Among all
girl groups, TWICE has the highest sales record this year. Its debut
album in 2010 also recorded 100,000 unit sales, proving the popularity
of the group.
Moreover, ‘Cheer Up’ which is the title song of
‘Page Two’ ranked first for 562 hours on the chart of Melon, the largest
music site in South Korea, breaking a new record.
Meanwhile,
the music video of ‘Cheer Up’ has hit 72,550,000 views and it is
