During most of the week, WBBM-FM (96.3) treats the subject of sex with as much maturity as your average hormone-crazed adolescent.
From the leering, salacious humor of morning mouths JoBo and Eddie to the explicit lyrics of its contemporary-hit music playlist, the station often comes off as the radio equivalent of scrawlings on a bathroom wall.
But from 10 p.m. to midnight every Sunday, B-96 gets serious about S-E-X.
Since January, WBBM-FM has been airing "Private Lives," a live call-in show about sex and relationships, geared to the station's core audience of teens and young adults. It's an important and worthwhile addition to Chicago radio.
