"You'll See," co-written with adult contemporary maestro David Foster, was the lead single from Madonna's ballads collection Something to Remember, and became an enduring Top 10 hit. The song was an empowered, somewhat melodramatic, Latin-tinged ballad (its video was the sequel to the "Take a Bow" video), and helped to even further cement Madonna as a constant on adult contemporary radio, which, in turn, further distanced her from her raunchier days earlier in the decade. The maxi-single took the Latin idea even further by including the song in Spanish. That version, in which Madonna sings the Spanish lyrics surprisingly well, was included in some import pressings of Something to Remember under the title "Veras." Also included on this single is an instrumental version of "You'll See" and an eight-minute live version of her 1986 chart-topper "Live to Tell."
