Football Hopeful tie of the Nzalang against Cape Verde The national team has tied against the powerful national team of Cape Verde at one goal, on the evening of January 7, at the Mini Stadium, in the facilities of the Benfica in Lisbon (Portugal). The Nzalang of Esteban Becker, despite the limited preparation of the team, has shown that it arrives at the CAN 2015 wanting to play a great tournament and deserving to win against a team that has had months of preparation.
08/01/2015The National Nzalang started the match with Aitor Embela as goalkeeper; Daniel Evuy, Mbele, Rui and Sipo in defense; Zarandona, Juvenal, Belima, Edu and Balboa, in midfield and Emilio Nsue as forward.
The meeting began with the domination of the game and possession of the ball by the Nzalang, while Cape Verde waited in their field to go on the counterattack on the sidelines. In one of those plays on the left sideline, an easy pass for the Equatorial Guinean goalkeeper is deflected by Mbele, who scores in his own goal.
Five minutes later, the central defender Rui, in an involuntary clash in the Nzalang area, commits a penalty and ends up injured and was replaced by Igor Engonga. Fortunately, the shot hit the post, and the first part ended with Equatorial Guinean domination.
The second half began with the changes of Felipe Ovono for Aitor Embela, Kike Boula for Juvenal and Miguel Malle for Sipo. Esteban Becker modified the schematic and advances the position of Balboa, to accompany Nsue. From that moment, Boula and Balboa take over the game, the team used more pressure and had more ball movement.
The opportunities took place on the Equatorial Guinean side and Cape Verde is overwhelmed in every line; a situation that increases with the entry of Fabbiano as third forward, replacing Belima.
At 30 minutes, a goal by Nsue is annulled for a dubious offside. The Nzalang has control and Cape Verde does not pass the midfield. Ganet enters the field for Zarandona, and his pass is topped off by Edu, barely missing the post.
Joy comes in the 89th minute when Fabbiani enters the area and his shot to the left of goalkeeper ties for the Nzalang, which does justice to a match dominated by the national team, which clearly deserved the win.
Now Esteban Becker will have a few days to train with the team, strengthen the concepts of play and face Congo Brazzaville on January 17, with a team that we are sure will not disappoint fans of Equatorial Guinea.
