Shape and Color of the Skoda Logo

The famous “winged arrow” logo of Skoda was first introduced in 1926, consisting of blue and white colors. The circular emblem is believed to depict the stylized head of an Indian who wears a headdress with five feathers. It is among the most popular and instantly recognizable car logos in the world.

The Skoda logo underwent a major overhaul in 1994 and a black and green design was unveiled. While the black color represented the hundred-year tradition of the company, the green color symbolized growth, freshness and environmental production.

The current version of the Skoda logo was launched in 2011 as an attempt to render a more simplified, futuristic and sleek corporate identity for the automaker.
