Cartoon Network (CN) is a leading American cable television network that mainly broadcasts animated programming for kids and teens. It was launched in October 1992; one year after Turner Broadcasting acquired the animation studio Hanna-Barbera Productions Inc.
The channel has its corporate headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

The current version of the Cartoon Network logo was introduced on June 14, 2004. It consists of two cubes with the network’s initials, C and N, with the full name written underneath. It was created by Animal Logic, a prominent Australian digital visual effects company.
The previous logo of Cartoon Network was launched on October 1, 1992. It comprised of a 7×2 grid with alternating black and white blocks.
