The Charlotte Bobcats are a popular professional basketball team in the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Based in Charlotte, North Carolina and currently owned by the legendary NBA player Michael Jordan, the team was formed in 2004 as an expansion team.
