Slayer is a hugely popular and influential American heavy metal band. One of the “Big Four” thrash metal groups, it was formed in 1981 in Huntington Park, California. The current lineup of the band includes Tom Araya, Jeff Hanneman, Kerry King and Dave Lombardo. Slayer has sold more than 20 million records worldwide.
A few of their most successful albums include Reign in Blood, South of Heaven, Seasons in the Abyss, Divine Intervention and World Painted Blood.
