The DC Comics logo has undergone several redesigns over the years, including a number of circular logos, the iconic “DC bullet” and the swooshy, Saturn-like ring emblem.
The current version of the DC Comics logo was designed by the famous brand consultancy firm Landor Associates. Unveiled in January 2012, it uses a “peel” effect as the “D” is creatively positioned over the “C” and the upper right-hand portion of the “D” uncovers the hidden “C”. This probably signifies the duality of the illustrious characters that are owned by the DC Comics.
