JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., more commonly known as Chase, is a national bank headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. A subsidiary of the leading financial services firm JPMorgan Chase, it operates over 5,100 branches and employs more than 240,000 people nationwide.
As of 2009 Chase had an annual revenue of $58.716 billion.

Shape, Colors and Font of the Chase Logo
The current version of the Chase logo was unveiled in June 2008 after company’s massive rebranding campaign. It comprises of a simple wordmark which clearly identifies and represents the organization using a custom typeface.
The previous logo of Chase Bank featured the famous “Chase Octagon” which was introduced in November 1960 to celebrate the inauguration of One Chase Manhattan Plaza. Widely credited as one of the oldest known abstract company logos, it was designed by the noted New-York-based branding firm Chermayeff & Geismar Associates. The logo depicted a simple yet powerful non-representational geometric form in blue color which proved timeless and universal, only replaced after almost five decades.
The emblem is also believed to represent the cross section of a wooden water pipe that was characteristic of the Manhattan Company as a water supply company.
