Shape and Colors of the WWE Logo

The WWE logo is one of the most iconic logos in the history of advertising and graphic design. Thousands of people wear WWE merchandise, making it one of the most popular within the entertainment industry.

The final and updated version of the classic “scratch” logo of WWE, consisting of two “Ws” and a red underline underneath, was unveiled in December 1997. When the World Wide Fund for Nature sued WWE for breaching their trademark and corporate logo in 2000, the company launched its “Get The F Out” marketing campaign in May 2002, officially changing its name from “World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc.” to “World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.”

The logo remained largely the same, only the connected letter “F” was removed, and the new emblem was placed on a black background.

Font of the WWE Logo

The WWE logo incorporates a custom-made and aggressive typeface designed specifically for the company.
