The St. Louis Cardinals logo has undergone several modifications over the years. Its earliest version, consisting of an interlocking “SL”, was introduced as early as 1900. It is rated among the most popular and highly recognizable logos in baseball.
The current version of the “birds on bat” logo of St. Louis Cardinals was introduced in 1998. It comprises of a cardinal sitting on a yellow bat having a yellow beak and white eyes. The team’s name, Cardinals, appears also in red color in lowercase letters.
