Shape and Font of the Emirates Logo
The Emirates logo comprises of the company’s name which is written in “sacred” calligraphic lettering in traditional Arabic language. The emblem contains individual Arabic letterforms which are read from right to left. The wordmark which lies just below it, adversely bears the name of the airline company in English lettering and features a custom typeface.
The original livery and corporate identity for Emirates were designed by Negus & Negus Associates in 1985.

The red color in the Emirates logo represents prosperity, self-confidence, passion and leadership, whereas the white color depicts nobility, elegance and purity.
