DESIGN ELEMENTS, HISTORY AND EVOLUTION OF LOTUS LOGO

Shape and Colors of the Lotus Logo

The Lotus logo is often considered as one of the most iconic and instantly recognizable car logos in history. It originates from the initials of the company’s founder, Anthony Colin Bruce Chapman. The four letters are positioned inside a triangular lozenge structure against a green background. The triangle itself is contained in a yellow circle.

The use of yellow color in the Lotus logo embodies sun, energy and joy. The other color, British racing green, exemplifies speed and passion.
