YouTube is the most popular video-sharing website that uses Adobe Flash Video technology to display a huge variety of user-generated content. It enables anyone to upload their videos for free for the whole world to see. Founded in February 2005 in San Bruno, California by three former Paypal employees, it was acquired by Google Inc. for $1.65 billion in November 2006.

Shape and Colors of the YouTube Logo
The YouTube logo is undoubtedly one of the most popular and instantly recognizable logos on the internet. It has, however, undergone a few slight modifications over the years.
The YouTube logo comprises of the word “You” in black color and a red rounded rectangle with the other half “Tube” inside it. It often features the tagline, “Broadcast Yourself”, in the bottom of the design. In December 2011, when YouTube launched a new version of the website’s interface, a new logo was introduced with a darker and more subtle shade of red, the first significant change since October 2006.
